Harwood Services Recognized for Safety Performance!

Mr. Jason Reynolds, Sr. Loss Control Representative with Acuity Insurance and Ms. Mary Kent with Unico Group presented to Harwood Services the 2008 Acuity Outstanding Safety Performance Award on February 10th, 2009.

Acuity, headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, provides a broad spectrum of workman's compensation, property and casualty coverage for businesses in 18 states. Rated A+ by A.M. Best and Standard & Poor's, Acuity has been in business since 1925 and is listed as the 78th largest insurer in the nation.

Harwood Services is only one of four contractors in Nebraska to receive this award for 2008. Some of the parameters for the safety award include over $50,000.00 in premiums, having been with Acuity for at least 3 years, have a loss ratio of 35% or less and have an LC grade of 6 or better.

This award is a testament to the focus and importance that Harwood Services and its employees put on safety and a safe working environment. This award is only possible with the cooperation of management and employees to insure a safe and productive workplace.
